Recipe for Sweet Idlis

Sweet Idli is a calcium rich recipe.
Idlis is a form of soft diet and can be easily eaten by elderly who do not have dentures.
This preparation is a variation of the traditional bland idlis. This recipe serves 1.

| Ingredients |
Amount |
| Semolina (suji) | 3.5 tbsp |
| Sugar | 5 tbsp |
| Ghee or oil | 1 tsp |
| Milk | 150 gms |
| Raisins | 5-6 nos |
| Baking Soda | small pinch |
| Curd | 5 tsp |
| Salt | to taste |

| Method:
|
- Mix ghee with suji.
- Soak suji in water for about 2 hrs.
- Add the sugar, salt raisins and baking soda and mix well.
- This mixture is made into a thick a batter with curd and milk.
- Grease a plate or idli cups and pour the mixture into it.
- Steam it. When set, remove and cut into small pieces before serving.
