Recipe for Oats Patties

Oats Patties are a fibre rich, low cal, low fat, snack for diabetics and those who want to lose weight. This recipe makes 1 serving of 3 patties.


Ingredients Amount
Oats flakes or bran1 tbsp
Sweet Corn1 tbsp
Green peas, cooked2 tsp
Green chilies1-2 nos
Ginger Chili Paste2 tsp
Oil1 tsp
Saltto taste
Method:
  • Steam the sweet corn and mash it coarsely.
  • Make three patties from the above mixture.
  • Bake in an oven for a fat-free recipe or smear very little oil on the tava and shallow fry the patties.
  • Serve hot with green chutney.
