Recipe for Dudhi-ke-diet-vade

This low calorie diet vada is made out of Bottle Gourd which is a very low calorie vegetable rich in antioxidants.


Ingredients for rice Amount
Bottle gourd6 and a half tbsps
Wheat flour1 tsp
Sesame seeds2 tsp
Coriander leaves2-3 sticks
Oil1 tbsp
Saltto taste
Garam Masalato taste
Chili powderto taste
Green chilies1-2
Method:
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
  • Peel and mash bottle gourd.
  • Add wheat flour, chopped coriander, garam Masala, chili powder and salt.
  • Make 4 vade out of it and roll in sesame seeds.
  • Brush with oil and bake till brown.
  • Serve hot with curd or green chutney
