Recipe for Daliya Patties

Daliya Patties are a low calorie, low fat snack item for diabetics and weight loss individuals. This recipe makes 1 serving of 3 patties.

| Ingredients for rice |
Amount |
| Daliya - (broken wheat) | 1 tbsp |
| Sweet Corn | 1 tbsp (15 gms) |
| Green peas (cooked) | 2 tsp |
| Carrot (diced into pieces) | 1 nos |
| Green chilies | 1-2 nos |
| Green chilli paste | 2 tsp |
| Oil | 1 tsp |
| Salt | to taste |

| Method:
|
- Steam the sweet corn and mash it into a coarse paste.
- Soak Daliya in water for about 2 hrs.
- Roll into a paratha .
- Mix daliya, mashed sweet corn, green peas, carrot and ginger chili paste. Add salt to taste.
- Make three patties from the above mixture.
- Bake in an oven for a fat free recipe or smear very little oil on the tava and shallow fry.
- Serve hot with green chutney.
