Recipe for Parathas made out of barley flour

Barley de paratha is a recipe using Barley -a rich source of essential amino acids like methionine and cystine. Barley is also a diuretic and helps to flush out toxins. This recipe makes 1 serving od 2 parathas.

| Ingredients for dosa |
Amount |
| Barley flour | 2 tbsp |
| Wheat flour | 2 tbsp |
| Onion - medium sized | half |
| Garlic paste | 1 tsp |
| Ginger Chili Paste | 1 tsp |
| Ginger Oil | 1.5 tbsp |
| Salt | to taste |

| Method:
|
- Chop onion and make a puree in the mixer.
- Make dough by mixing all the above ingredients, water and ½ tsp of the oil in the dough.
- Roll into a paratha.
- Heat tava, smear it with oil and place Paratha on it and flip over once. Remove when brown spots appear on both sides.
