Recipe for Parathas made out of barley flour

Barley de paratha is a recipe using Barley -a rich source of essential amino acids like methionine and cystine. Barley is also a diuretic and helps to flush out toxins. This recipe makes 1 serving od 2 parathas.

Ingredients for dosa Amount
Barley flour2 tbsp
Wheat flour2 tbsp
Onion - medium sizedhalf
Garlic paste1 tsp
Ginger Chili Paste1 tsp
Ginger Oil1.5 tbsp
Saltto taste
Method:
  • Chop onion and make a puree in the mixer.
  • Make dough by mixing all the above ingredients, water and ½ tsp of the oil in the dough.
  • Roll into a paratha.
  • Heat tava, smear it with oil and place Paratha on it and flip over once. Remove when brown spots appear on both sides.
