Recipe for Onion-garlic Parathas

Onion-Garlic Parathas are a protien and phytochemicals rich recipe. Protein is a very important for growth, development and wear and tear. Garlic and onions have phytochemicals that help boost immunity. This recipe makes 1 serving of 2 parathas.


Ingredients Amount
Chana flour2 tbsp
Wheat flour2 tbsp
Onion , medium size1
Garlic paste1 tsp
Ginger Chili Paste1 tsp
Garlic6-8 cloves
Oil1 tsp
Saltto taste
Method:
  • Chop onion finely.
  • Coarsely grind garlic with a stone.
  • Make dough by mixing all the above ingredients, water and ½ tsp of the oil in the dough.
  • Roll into a paratha.
  • Heat tava, smear it with oil and place Paratha on it and turn once. Remove when brown spots appear on both sides..
