You always thought grooming is associated with women, right? If you think so, then you are probably ignoring your looks and appearance. First impression is the last impression. So why not make that impression perfect. Who knows even you may have a secret admirer looking at you!

Here are some tips that will help in grooming you towards perfection...

  • Get a good hair cut - one that suits both your face and your hair type. If you are not sure yourself then get help from a hair stylist
  • If you have gray hair then it is good to get those coloured. But do this under the guidance of a hair stylist and select a colour that will look natural and will suit your personality the best
  • If you are facing the trouble of receding hairline then get treated and opt for a short hair cut
  • Clip and file your finger and toe nails as well manicured nails and toes contribute to good hygiene and grooming habits
  • Trim the stray hair on ears, nose or any unwanted hair on your body which hampers you from looking good
  • Whenever you go out in sun, make sure that you use sun screen lotion at least with SPF 15 to protect your skin from ultra violent radiations. And this will also protect you from wrinkles and skin cancers
  • Wear sunglasses when outdoors as this will protect your eyes from the harmful rays at the same time you look trendier
  • If your skin is oily then it is essential to cleanse, tone and moisturize it regularly to get rid of dirt and environmental pollutants that can clog the skin and make it appear dull
  • While shavings make sure that the razor blades are not rusted. The blades should be clean. If not then be ready to get acnes. Use of aftershaves helps to alleviate irritation and enhances the healing of micro cuts
  • Dental hygiene will not just take care of your smile but also give you a fresh breath. Therefore, brush your teeth twice a day and do not forget to clean your tongue every day
  • If you have chapped lips than apply petroleum based jelly. This will save you from any uncomplimentary remark
  • While bathing, use exfoliating scrubs and loofahs that are very effective for doing away with extra rough skin on the elbows, knees and heels. But do not use the same on your face as then they can damage your facial skin
  • If your feet get sweaty and give foul odour then make sure you change your socks regularly. Scrub your feet regularly. Wear socks that will absorb foot sweat
  • Trim underarm hairs as lesser the hair the lesser the growth of micro-organisms and lesser the perspiration odour
  • Wear light coloured fabrics in summer season as this will absorb less heat and more sweat
  • Use deodorant and colognes at the pulse points to feel fresh and to keep the body odour away
  • Eat a nutritious diet and drink atleast 1.5 to 2 litres of water a day to flush all the harmful toxins out of your body
  • Get rid of habits, if any, like smoking or drinking as this will save you from future health complaints
Now get the required skin care products and place them on your dressing table which is either empty or filled with your spouse?s beauty products!
