Kidney Stones Risk Assessment

Kidney stones are a common problem and they could be of many kinds. Irrespective of their type, all of them give rise to almost the same set of symptoms and can affect the functioning of the kidneys if they lead to obstruction. Take this assessment to find out whether you are at risk of developing them.

Drinking plenty of water is recommended. Restricting the intake of stimulants like alcohol or coffee is advisable as these may irritate the bladder. Controlling the urge to pass urine for a long time must be avoided and genital hygiene should be maintained. Including vitamin C rich foods like lemon, orange, sweet lime, Indian gooseberry, and cranberry can help in the management of kidney stones.
