What is a hemorrhagic cyst? Can it cause any difficulty in conceiving? Does it affect the menstrual periods? Please advise.
(Speciality: Doctor)
A hemorrhagic cyst is an ovarian cyst that is filled with blood. Usually harmless, they do not affect a woman’s ability to conceive. They do not affect the menses but certainly can make the periods extremely painful. Allopathic treatment is mostly symptomatic and in severe cases, certain hormonal preparations are administered to control the problem. These medicines can give rise to side-effects; therefore, it is advisable to try alternative systems of medicine such as Ayurveda or Homeopathy before you start Allopathic treatment.
