A low calorie but a nutritious diet is what you need. Eat food at fixed hours. Include fresh vegetable salad in every meal. Include sprouts, vegetables, pulses, soya products and fruits in your diet. Avoid products that have fat in them like butter, cheese, nuts, cream, mayonnaise and cocoa. Use oils like sunflower, safflower and olive oil in preparing food that too in little quantities. Go for foods that are roasted, stewed or boiled instead of deep fried. Include salads in all your meals. While having your meal, chew your food properly as this will help you in better digestion. Do not eat late at night. Drink sufficient amounts of water at least 7 to 8 glasses per day. Avoid canned, junk, processed and ready-to-eat foods. Limit your caffeine in take. Have skimmed milk instead of whole milk. Reduce the sugar and salt intake. If you have any habits like tobacco intake, smoking or alcohol consumption then quit.
