My cholesterol is high. What do i do?

You need take the prescribed medicines if any. Along with them you need to be careful with what you eat. Decrease the total dietary fat (especially saturated fat), dietary cholesterol and limit your sodium intake. Foods to be avoided include meat, organ meat, poultry, egg yolk, whole milk and products using whole milk, butter, cheese, cream, ghee, oil, foods containing coconut or coconut milk or coconut oil, nuts (cashew nut, pistachio), cocoa, canned food and drinks, processed food, ready-to-eat foods and junk foods. It is advisable to maintain an ideal weight fewer calories and by increasing your physical activity on a regular basis.
