Spicy corn roti

Whole wheat flour and sweet corn are full of fiber which aids in regulating bowel movement, and for controlling blood sugar and blood pressure.

Ingredients List

Ingredients Amount
Whole wheat flour 1 1/2 cup
Sweet corn 1/2 cup
Green Chili 1-2 no.
Coriander leaves few
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation Method

  • Steam corn and crush it.
  • Add in wheat flour, chopped green chillies and coriander, all the spices and knead a soft dough.
  • Cover and keep for 30 min.
  • Later divide the dough into four equal portions and roll each into a round roti.
  • Cook on non-stick pan until one sides is brown.
  • Put the other side on the flame and allow it to fluff.
  • Serve hot with vegetable or raita.
