Recipe For Parathas Made Out Of Barley Flour

Methionine and cystine recipe using Barley

Barley de paratha: is a recipe using Barley -a rich source of essential amino acids like methionine and cystine. Barley is also a diuretic and helps to flush out toxins. This recipe makes 1 serving od 2 parathas.

Ingredients List

Ingredients Amount
Barley flour 2 Tbsp
Wheat flour 2 tsp
Onion - medium sized 1/2
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Ginger Chili Paste 1 tsp
Ginger Oil 1.5 tsp
Salt To taste

Preparation Method

Method:

  • Chop onion and make a puree in the mixer.
  • Make dough by mixing all the above ingredients, water and ½ tsp of the oil in the dough.
  • Roll into a paratha.
  • Heat tava, smear it with oil and place Paratha on it and flip over once. Remove when brown spots appear on both sides.
