Barley de paratha

Barley de paratha is a recipe using barley-a rich source of essential amino acids like methionine and cystine. Barley is also a diuretic and helps to flush out toxins.

Barley flour 3/4 cup
Wheat flour 2 Tbsp
Onion - medium sized 1/2 No.
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Ginger Chili Paste 1 tsp
Oil 2 tsp
Salt To taste

Preparation Method

  • Chop onion and make a coarse puree in the mixer.
  • Make dough by mixing all the above ingredients, water and 1/2 tsp of the oil.
  • Roll into a paratha.
  • Heat tava, smear it with oil and place paratha on it and cook. Remove when brown spots appear on both sides.
