Indian Pizza with Tomato Dip

Indian Pizza with Tomato Dip : is made of Nachni. Nachni (also called Raagi, or Millet) is rich in Riboflavin and vitamin B

Ingredients List

Ingredients Amount
Rice 4 Tbsp
Udad dal 2 Tbsp
Curds 5 tbsp
Tomatoes 2 numbers
Onion 1 number
Oil 1 and half Tbsp
Salt to taste
Capsicum 1 number
Cabbage 3 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Pepper and salt to taste
Tomato purees 2 tbsp
Green chili paste 1 tbsp

Preparation Method

Method:

  • Soak udad dal for 3 hrs and rice for 8 hrs separately
  • drain and grind them to make a batter
  • Add curds and leave it to ferment for 8 hrs
  • Spread the batter on small size thali and steam. The base of the Indian pizza is ready
  • Chop tomato into small pieces
  • Chop onions, finely grate the cabbage and slice the capsicum
  • Heat the oil and sauté the onions till brown
  • Add tomato and capsicum and cook for some time
  • Add salt chili powder and pepper
  • Spread the mixture on the base and sprinkle grated cabbage, On the top put capsicum and cut into slices
  • Serve hot
  • For tomato dip, puree the tomato and add green chili paste to it
