Method:

  • Soak udad dal for 3 hrs and rice for 8 hrs separately
  • Drain and grind them to make a batter
  • Add curds and leave it to ferment for 8 hrs approximately
  • Blanch the spinach and make a puree. Do not add water
  • Add the spinach puree to the fermented batter and keep aside
  • Boil, peel and chop banana into small pieces
  • Chop onions.
  • Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onions till light brown
  • Add banana, Masala and salt to taste
  • Heat the tava and smear it with oil, spread dosa batter on it and allow it to cook for some time then stuff it with banana mixture and fold from both sides
  • Serve hot with sambhar or green chutney
