Grilled cheese vegetable soup

The goodness of vegetables with the aroma of grilled cheese and spices , makes this soup hot and spicy.

Ingredients List

Ingredients Amount
Tomatoe 2
Bay leaf (Tejpata) 1 no.
Bottle gourd (Dudhi) 1 cup
Carrot 1 no.
Cornflour 1 tsp
Green peas 1/4 cup
Pepper powder (Kalimari) 2 tsp
Cinnamon 2 stick
Cloves 2 no.
Cheese 2 Tbsp
Oil 2 tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation Method

  • Blanch tomatoes and puree them.
  • Heat the oil,add the bay leaf, grated dudhi, grated carrots and saute for a few min. Add the pureed tomatoes.
  • Mix the cornflour in a little cold water and add to the soup.
  • Add in peas, spices, salt and 1-2 cups water and boil for 20 min.
  • Now pour the soup into a big bowl.
  • Sprinkle grated cheese and put in microwave grill for 5 min or until the cheese melts.
  • Serve hot.
