Daliya patties

Daliya patties is a low calorie, low fat, high fibre snack for diabetics and weight watchers.

Ingredients List

Ingredients Amount
Broken wheat (Daliya) 1/2 cup
Potato 1 no.
Sweet Corn 1 Tbsp
Green peas 2 Tbsp
Carrot 1 no.
Green chilies 1-2 no.
Ginger garlic paste 1 1/2 tsp
Oil 2 tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation Method

  • Soak daliya in water for about 2 hrs. Drain water and keep aside.
  • Boil and mash potato. Steam the sweet corn, peas and carrot (finely chopped).
  • Mix all the ingredients except oil in a large bowl.
  • Add salt and green chillies to taste. Make patties from the above mixture.
  • Smear very little oil on a non-stick tava and shallow fry the patties.
  • Serve hot with green chutney .
