Daliya Patties

Daliya Patties :is a low calorie, low fat snack item for diabetics and weight loss individuals. This recipe makes 1 serving of 3 patties.

Ingredients List

Ingredients Amount
Daliya (Broken wheat) 1 Tbsp
Sweet Corn 1 Tbsp
Green peas, cooked 2 Tsp
Carrot (diced into pieces) 1 nos
Green chilies 1-2 nos
Ginger Chili Paste 2 Tsp
Oil 1 Tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation Method

Method:

  • Steam the sweet corn and mash it into a coarse paste.
  • Soak Daliya in water for about 2 hrs.
  • Roll into a paratha.
  • Mix daliya, mashed sweet corn, green peas, carrot and ginger chili paste. Add salt to taste.
  • Make three patties from the above mixture.
  • Bake in an oven for a fat free recipe or smear very little oil on the tava and shallow fry.
  • Serve hot with green chutney .
