Chocolate burfi

Chocolate burfi is a delight for weight gainers.

Ingredients List

Ingredients Amount
Cocoa Powder 2 Tbsp
Wheat flour 1 cup
Ghee 1 Tbsp
Skim Milk 3 cup
Walnuts few
Dates,seedless 1/2 cup
Water 1/2 cup

Preparation Method

  • Heat a heavy bottomed skillet and add ghee in it.
  • Now fry wheat flour in ghee.
  • Soak dates in little warm water.Blenderize them.
  • In a sauce pan, heat the milk till a point where it is reduced to half its quantity i.e. condense the milk.
  • Meanwhile dissolve the cocoa powder in condensed milk heated on low flame in a pan.
  • Mix all ingredients together except walnuts and stir continuously.
  • When the mixture becomes thick, add walnuts and mix properly.
  • Pour it into a greased plate.
  • Allow it to cool and cut into squares.
  • Chocolate burfi is ready.
