Chatpata khakhra

Ingredients List

Ingredients Amount
Khakhra,big 2 no.
Onion 1 no.
Tomato puree 1/4 cup
Tofu / Low fat paneer 1/4 cup
Sweet corn kernels,tender 1-2 no.
Green peas 1/4 cup
Garlic green chili paste 1 tsp
Chili powder 1 teaspoon
Dried oregano 1/4 teaspoon
Oil 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation Method

For topping

  • Steam peas and sweet corn and keep aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and garlic chili paste and saute till the onion turns translucent.
  • Add the tomato puree and cook till the oil separates.
  • Add the diced paneer or tofu, sweet corn, green peas, tomato, green chili, sugar, chili powder, oregano and salt and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Remove from the fire and keep aside.

How to proceed

  • Place the khakhra pieces on a serving plate.
  • Top with the topping and garnish with the chopped coriander.
  • Serve immediately.
