Carrot Burfi

Carrot Burfi is low cal, high protein dessert which is rich in Vitamin A, a potent antioxidant which may protect against cancer and help lower cholesterol levels

Ingredients List

Ingredients Amount
Carrot (grated) 2 cups
Skimmed Milk 4 cups
Ghee 1 tsp
Sweetener As per taste
Walnuts (chopped) 1 tbsp

Preparation Method
Heat a heavy bottomed vessel and add the grated carrot to it. Heat it to dry, stirring continuously.Repeat the same with grated coconut and keep it aside.Now boil milk with sweetener and keep stirring.Mix in the carrot and again stir until it becomes thick.When it is cooked well, add the walnuts.Apply ghee on a tray and put the mixture in it.When firm cut into pieces when cool.Carrot burfi is ready to serve.
