Calcium-rich recipe called Banana Delight

Calcium is a very important micronutrient required for bone health and for maintenance of tooth and hair health. This is an excellent option for elderly and sick people who cannot consume much of a food. This recipe is rich in Calcium. It serves 1 person, cooked weight=160 gms.

Ingredients Amount
Roasted Ragi 1 Tbsp
Roasted Bengal gram dall 1.5 Tbsp
Sugar 5 tsp
Banana 1/4 tsp
Water 50 ml
Milk 100 ml
Cashew nuts 3 nos
Cardamom 2 nos

Preparation Method

Method:

  • Powder all the ingredients except banana. Mix them well..
  • Add cold water and make into thick batter.
  • Add milk and cook on slow fire stirring continuously till raw smell disappears.
  • Keep on fire until it becomes semi- solid.
  • Remove from fire and mix banana with it.
