Baked methi puris

Baked methi puri is a healthy low fat snack ideal for tea time. Try these crunchy puris now !

Ingredients List

Ingredients Amount
Whole wheat flour 1/2 cup
Fenugreek leaves (methi leaves) 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder (Haldi) 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Jeera powder 1 tsp
Oil 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation Method

  • Combine all the ingredients and knead a firm dough.
  • Divide the dough into 5-6 portions and roll out each portion into a circle.
  • Place on a greased baking tray and prick all over using a fork.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree celcius for 10-15 minutes or till the puris are golden brown.
  • Cool and store in an air tight container.
