Recipe for Brown Rice Pulav

Brown Rice Pulav is a Vitamin E rich recipe. Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant and useful for the heart. This recipe serves 1.

Ingredients Amount
Brown rice 3 Tsp (30 g)
Chole 2 Tsp (15 g)
Masoor 2 Tsp
French beans 2 Tsp
Pepper As per taste
Oil 2 Tsp
Salt As per taste
Tomatoes 3 nos
Onion 1 nos
Garlic 4-5 flakes
Kashmiri chilies (soaked) 3-4 nos

Preparation Method

Method:

  • Soak chole and masoor separately for 7-8 hrs and then pressure cook it.
  • Cook rice separately and add salt in it while cooking.
  • Blanch tomatoes and chop them.
  • Sauté onions till light brown.
  • Make puree in mixer.
  • Toss the rice with chole, masoor, french beans in it
  • Add salt and pepper
  • Serve with hot sauce.
