Preparation Method

Soak udad dal for 3 hr and rice for 8 hr separately.

Together grind the rice and udad dal and make a fine paste.

Leave the mixture overnight for fermentation.

Add salt to the mixture.

Grate the carrot and pumpkin. Chop the coriander finely.

Heat a non-stick pan and smear it with little oil.

Pour a ladle full of batter and spread into a circle.

Add the grated carrots, pumpkin and coriander on top. Flip over once and cook until done.

Serve hot with green chutney.
