Methi paneer bajra roti

Bajra is loaded with fiber whereas panner is rich in calcium and protein . This healthy combo is excellent for all age groups.

Ingredients List

Ingredients Amount
FOR DOUGH
Bajra flour 1 cup
Salt a pinch
FOR STUFFING
Cottage Cheese (Paneer) 1/4 cup
Methi leaves few twigs
Onion 1/2 no.
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tsp

Preparation Method

  • Add the salt and hot water to the bajra flour and make dough. Knead well and keep aside for 5-10 min
  • Meanwhile,make a stuffing by mixing crumbled paneer, finely chopped onion and methi leaves. Add salt to taste.
  • Now divide the bajra dough into 4 equal portion and roll each into a chapati. Spread the stuffing on two chapatis and then put the other chapatis on top. Press from sides.
  • Cook each stuffed chapatis on a non stick tawa ( griddle ) with minimal oil.
  • Serve hot with raita.
