There are various modern procedures and medical technologies to get rid of the vision errors. Lasik and Epi-lasik being the latest. But, it depends upon various factors such as corneal thickness (Lasik can be done in people with good corneal thickness whereas Epi-lasik can be done in those with thin cornea like those with high optic numbers), associated presbyopia (age related vision error which cannot be corrected by Lasik/Epi-lasik), any other ailment like uncontrolled diabetes, other associated eye problem like cataract, retinal diseases, optic nerve damage, etc. The ophthalmologist decides upon all these factors whether you are fit for the procedure or not. Although at the age of 34 the chances of developing presbyopia is less, it is advisable to consult an ophthalmologist to rule out any other underlying ailment.
