Getting Santa back into shape

December 24th, 2010 by Team Healthizen
Santa Poor old Santa never complains about his overweight, his aching knees, his hunchback, and his jet lag. Every year, as Christmas draws near, he gets to some very serious business. He calls all his elves, who have been busy preparing goodies all year long to gift away to kids all across the globe, and then chalks out his grand itinerary. Those few days of fun and frolic for others take a toll on Santa’s health, with him craving for a good night’s sleep and rest for his back.

As he flies through the wintry skies, he shivers down to his bones. His teeth chatter and his legs quiver, but he tirelessly and diligently pays a visit to each of his little darlings who hang up their stockings in pleasant anticipation of a great gift from their beloved Father X’mas. With such a stressful routine, that too at his advanced age, Santa is probably at high risk of suffering from diabetes mellitus and high blood pressure.

Ho… Ho… Ho… He goes, but who knows, these could be cover ups for Ooh… Aah… and Ouch! Our grand old man has been neglecting his health far too much for our sake and this is just not fair. He needs to consult a geriatrician on cloud nine in the seventh heaven and the Fairy Godmother’s nutritionist to modify his high-calorie diet. Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer and his brethren are also looking fatigued; so, Santa needs to be careful not to arouse the ire of the SPCA and PETA activists.

The elves are a little grumpy too owing to the fact that two amongst them had reportedly been missing. It was only about two months back that it was realized that these two cool dudes had tried their luck in Hollywood by joining the cast of Harry Potter and the deathly hallows as Dobby and Kreacher. Now that the movie has been released, these guys are back as stars, making their buddies turn green in envy.

Healthizen has taken upon itself the onus of getting Santa back into shape. Health supplements, fitness equipment, diet plans, medical expert advice, online health records… you name it… we have it. Santa is joining us tomorrow; so, if you’re his big fan and wish to follow his footsteps, come and join us too. Merry Christmas!
