Pisces, the Fishes, is the third sign of the Water triplicity and the twelfth sign of the tropical zodiac. Pisces is ruled by Neptune, planet of the deceptive, mysterious, spiritual and sensitive features in man.
The key phrase for Pisces is "I believe." Piscean people possess a patient, pliable, and gentle nature. They are sensitive to the feelings of people around them, and respond with sympathy and diplomacy to any distress they come across. They do not strive for material gain; their charm, humor and sympathy open doors to opportunities. They have learned to develop their innate talents for art, music or poetry.
Neptune makes it difficult to forecast how they will develop. Pisceans are basically shy and prefer to imitate others, which is why many of them are dreamer, actors, artists and writers. While some of them are well organized and neat, others are careless and untidy. They have vivid imagination and tend to stretch the truth (one of their natural abilities) and so lean towards artistic activities like writing incredible novels and poetry.
Internally, Pisces, in general, rules the functions of the glands, lymphatic system, and synovial fluids. Externally, it rules the feet and toes and structurally the bones of the feet. Those born under this sign are susceptible to ulcers, boils and other skin diseases. They are also vulnerable to heavy periods, gout, foot disorders and lameness and inflammation of the eyelids.
Their emotional nature exposes them to psychosomatic illness. Pisceans take to drugs and alcohol in order to deal with worldly pressures, and this particular subject needs to be addressed with care.
Pisceans are daredevils and risk takers. They are easily seduced by the thrills of piloting a plane, racing a car at top speed, hunting or exploring the wilderness. They find that sports and exercising are a good ways to keep fit and reduce emotional stress.
In personal relationships, they give more than they ask for and rarely, if ever, tend to be egotistical. Most Pisceans prefer a relationship in which the partner's mind and spirit match with their own. They make loyal spouses and are home loving.
In employment they work better either by themselves or in subordinate positions.
